why is my odata model not fetching metadata or data?

I am trying to get data using an Odata service as shown in below url, however I am not getting any data, can you pls tell me why?

When I debug, it is showing metadata request is in progress.

Please note, I am also using fetching data from the same host using config in manifest, it is working.
