Hi, folks:
After one day research, I found the HANA Studio seems to read connection information from NWBC, not from the SAP Logon, so after I delete NWBC from my computer, every thing seems back to the right situation, thank you all.

Hi
I get the following message
Do we need any specific roles on BW application to be able to login via BW modeling tools in eclipse.
user is not authorized to access system BWD via ABAP in Eclipse (No authorization to access the resource /sap/bc/adt/compatibility/graph.)

Hi Martin,
It seems as if you are trying to create a BW project which would use the sapgui connection strings. But you are asking about the HANA system for that you will need to make sure that you have the host of the hanadb server and the instance number (if you have access to the DBAcockpit transaction on the BW you can find the hana host by navigating to the configurations folder and select the services) this will reveal both the hana hostname and the SQL port on the indexserver 3xx15 where xx is the instance number you will need)
From hanastudio start by opening the SAP HANA Administration Console perspective (window-open perspective). From this perspective you can add a system (small server like icon with a green plus marker). If you are connecting to a hana system(as opposed to the hana cloud system) you choose the Add System and the screens will guide you thru (as said you will need hostname, instance and user credentials). Check out this one also
Hope this helps.

Hello, Mib:
Thanks for your quick reply.
I'm not logon to HANA system, but using BWMT to logon BW system which based on HANA. At the very first step I have to add a BW system using BWMT and I can't find my existing system in SAP logon file, it seems the HANA studio store the information several months ago and didn't update that anymore.

Sorry about that - so under the BW modelling perspective in Eclipse/hana studio when you create a new BW project you should get a popup which will display either the sapgui entries(use the browse button) or you can select "define manually". Have you tried to define manually and enter the connection properties ?
/MiB
We don't have the 'Define manually' option for a new BW project.
We will have to connect it to the one available in the SAP Logon.
Your issue seems to be very strange.
Could you please let me which Eclipse(Kepler/Juno) version you have used.
Or which version of HANA studio you are using.

Hi Martin,
To Logon to the BW on HANA, you need to logon to SAP HANA studio and there you can see the SAP logon where the HANA is installed. You can logon to the respective system.
Thanks and Regards,
Mahesh
