I recently noticed that the SAP Engineering Control Center (ECL) Viewer package size has increased significantly. In the previous version, the installer was around 484 MB, but the latest version (ECL 13 SP02) is now 1.6 GB.
I would like to understand:
- What changes or additional components caused this increase?
- Has SAP added new features, dependencies, or language packs?
- Are there any official release notes explaining the size difference?
- Is there a way to customize the installation to reduce the size if certain features are not required?
I appreciate any insights from the community or SAP experts!
This sizing is ruining our deploy packages.
