Why HANA views not visible in composite provider?

Hello, colleagues.

I'm a newcomer in HANA modeling and have some problems with composite provider and hana views. So, my HANA views aren't visible in search, also i haven't radio button search option (search in InfoProvider or HANA views). HANA system are available in project.

Please check if the following solution from the SAP note 2353707 helps.

Solution

Please add following Object Privileges to the SAP<SID> data base user profile:

Catalog Object: _SYS_REPO

Privilege: SELECT Grantable to Others: No

Privilege: EXECUTE Grantable to Others: No

Catalog Object: ACTIVE_OBJECT(_SYS_REPO)

Privilege: SELECT

Grantable to Others: No

hi, i had the same problem which was resolved by updating BWMT components to 1.18.20 version and HANA studio as 2.3.27. Also, you can only use views within composit provider as long as HANA instance for both BW & HANA system is same otherwise you won't be able to activate your CP.

Seems User has insufficient privileges to access views.

Please add following Object Privileges to the SAP<SID> data base user profile:
