Why does Crystal Reports design mode is partially not responding to my command?

Hi all. I use Crystal Reports 2020 SP2 Patch 5.

In Design mode, when I click "Section Expert", "Suppress (no drill-down)" etc the tool seems to ignore my command. There is no error message. The tool does not do anything.

- I have used a very simple query, no formula.

- I have already closed-reopened Crystal Reports.

- I have browsed throug the following posts : Section expert not opening in Crystal Reports design mode.

Section Expert not appear when right clicking from left side

Unfortunately none of them seem to solve the issue. I have been using Crystal Reports for years but it's the first time I have got this issue.

Any idea on how to solve this? Thank you in advance

Dear Nionja, 
Please start by updating to the latest service pack: SP 05 Patch 100.
It can be found here: https://pages.community.sap.com/topics/crystal-reports. Just scroll to the section software downloads portal.
