Why aren't QR codes displayed in the preview or when I print the report?

Hello,

I'm creating a report in which I need to include a field containing a QR code image. I'm using a SQL Server database.

Something I've noticed is that when I first place the field in the detail view, the QR code displays in the preview, but when I switch to design view and then return to the preview view, the QR code no longer displays. If I print the report, the QR code also doesn't display.

What could be causing this? Can you help me?

I'm using Crystal Reports 2013, and the database contains 1,000,000 records.

CR doesn't support QR Codes directly, there are work arounds though:

As you noted when using images of the QR Codes you will run out of room depending on the size of the report...

Better to use one of the above solutions
