1. In SAP Fiori launchpad i have created an tile with:

2. I have create the systemalias with TA "SM59":

3. Starting SAP Fiori Launchpad with IE 11,

Version 11.674.15063.0

Updateversion: 11.0.47

When activating the tile, an popup error message appears with following message:

"a Popup blocker has prevented the opening of the app. Deactivate the popup blocker in the browser and after that, open the app again"

In the other tab, you can see, that the app has started:

I don't know, why the error message with the popup blocker appears.

With other browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox Quantum, no error message appears.

Because IE is our standard explorer, i need a solution for the described problem.

Pherhaps someone can give me some ideas for solving the problems.

Thanks.

What's about the option to use the Target URL directly in the Tile and do not use a semantic navigation?

Can you explain why you've created a SM59 Destination?

Hello Gregor,

thank you so much. Great idea 🙂

You have successfully solved my problem.

I was wrong to create an sm59 destination. I have created an sm59 destination for access to the backend Web Dynpros. But in this context, i don't need it.

I'm so happy.

Best regards

Danny

- With semantic navigation the popup error message appers.

- Without semantic navigtion, the popup error message does not appear :-), but: the user with ESS-Role ( assigned to ESS-catalog "Spesen_ESS" with one tile) will see also the other tile of the MSS-Catalog "Spesen-MSS":

I don't know why, because the user has only assigned to the ESS-Role.

These 2 tiles from ESS- and MSS-catalog are assigned in ONE group.

WIth the catalogue role assignment to the user, the user will see only the tiles from the assigned catalogue.

When you use semantic navigation, you only see the tiles from that catalogue, you are assigned by the role.

Without semantic navigation, you can see all the tiles in the group although you are only assigned to the ESS-Role with one tile.

Maybe this is the problem ????

Thanks for answering
