while refreshing a Webi report from BI lAUnch pad , getting database error . It is trying to fetch the old database name , which is not in use any more. Could anyone please help me , how to resolve the issue?

Even though , i have pointed to new database , but still while refreshing its trying to fetch data from old database and throwing error as "Database Name or database Alias could not be found ". help needed to resolve this issue . Thanks a lot

Make sure you have updated both 32 and 64 bit ODBC connections. I guess you have not yet updated 64 bit ODBC connection.

Could you please tell me . if i need to update 64bit ODBC connection in client or on Server ?

Here are the places you need to check for 4.X (64 bit platform)

1. (on server - all applicable nodes) C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe
2. (on server - all applicable nodes) C:\Windows\System32\SysWOW\odbcad32.exe (for client tools on server)
3. Open the universe and then see the connection it is based on. "Test connection" and if there are any errors, fix them
