Which changes in object(class or function) can case regenerate related code/objects

I want to know which changes i do in class ( like add parameter to exist method or add new method ) can case to regenerte all the places that used this class when relase the cr that upload the class changes

I know that there is log in se01 to see all generation object but this is after the cr released...

I want this because every time when i release cr to production all the application not working because all the regenerting so i think to isolate some fearers that will not be dependent in another class or function so this isolate feater will work even i release cr anless i  do changes in the isolated class

If i know how the regenerate working i will know better how to isolate this featers

I guess "fearer" and "feater" mean "feature"? I don't understand what you are asking. Do you have a real example to share? (log in SE01, etc.) Is "regeneration" the activation of objects, or the implicit ABAP Load generation or explicit via SGEN? If you add one method or one parameter in one class, the regeneration will only concern that class. If you want the users to not be stuck by "activation" when they launch an application after some dependent objects have been changed by transport, you may use SGEN.

Sorry about my spelling mistakes. my problem is that i release cr to production that for example contain some changes in class A. when the cr uploading it cause to generat exist objects that not exist in the cr( like class and functions) but used class A. so all this objects not available and if i try to run them it will cause dumps. in almost every time i release cr to production all my application not working!, so i think to reduce dependency between objects and i think that if i will know how generating after release cr works i will can isolate some critic feature that still work in the application even in release cr times.

So, it dumps also in the DEV system, before transporting.

There's a Solution Manager tool to check a transport request before releasing it, but I don't use this tool, I don't know if it analyses dependencies in the DEV system.

In my humble opinion, when a developer changes the signature of such an object, they MUST do a where-use-case search and, if necessary, adapt the programs that use the module or method. And transport them with the modified object.

• Also some tests in development  should have raised the error, what's your company IT acceptance strategy?
• Of course, you could just add optional parameters, but that doesn't always make sense...
