Where to find EDI payload?? Seeburger monitor or RWB or SXI_MONITOR?

Hello Experts,

We're working on an ANSIX12 (AS2)--> XI --> Idoc (R/3) scenario. Everything is working fine. I just want to know where do I need to look to get the source ANSIX12 payload?

As far as I know, there can be 3 places to look for as follows...

Seeburger Message monitor - just has a log of the transaction..not the payload.

XI RWB - Contains the XML version of EDI (BIC mapper had already converted EDI flat file to XML format).

SXMB_MONI - Contains the XML version of EDI (BIC mapper had already converted EDI flat file to XML format).

Where else should I be looking? I'm sure there must be a place to look for the actual raw incoming EDI payload.

Your help is much appreciated. Please advise.

Thanks

Karthik

Hi,

if you have Message tracking enabled on your Seeburger work bench then you can view the EDI payload in Message Tracking.

Hi Karthik,

To enable msg traking some settings are required....

1. Mapping in IR should refer to the standard Seeburger function jar files.

2. Module configuration in the channel.

3. Configuration in Message Tracking.

Hi,

first you make sure that you have 'Message tracking' option is available along with 'Message Monitor', 'Message splitter' etc..

then you can follow the steps provided by Pinangshuk as above .

by the way what is the Version of your Seeburger component?

Suresh,

Our version is Seeburger 1.0 (very old version) and I dont see Message tracking option available. I only see Message monitor and Message Splitter options on Seeburger Workbench.

Any other options available?

Thanks

Hi,

Message tracking is available from 1.6 version.

so for the moment you can save the files as suggested by Rajesh earlier.

Hi,

AFAIK we cannot monitor the raw edi data received...in moni...(but not sure about seeburger moni...as you said not...)

if needed we can save the same using BIC parameter ...(saveFile....parameter ..dont remeber exactly the name of the parameter)

check the BIC doc if needed more details...
