Where are the SP Stacks files for ECC6 Ehp 4 ?

Hello,

I have an issue with our Sap Solution Manager system the wrong SPS target files are selected using Maintenance optimizer functionalities. I have opened a sap customer call to deal with this issue.

In the meantime, I have been asked to urgently implement ERP 6.0 Ehp4 Support package Stack 6 on our ECC6 landscape (current sps level is 5)

I have searched the whole week-end on the SAP SWDC, but I couldn't find their location anymore, it looks like they have been removed in some hidden place ...

I'm not looking for the individual components of ECC6 Ehp4, but for the Support package stacks files.

I can only find the SPS files for ERP 6.0 (without ehp)

thank you

regards.

Raoul

Hi,

EHP4 packages, you can only download from MOPZ in solman. You cannot download it directly from SMP.

What's the issue are you facing in MOPZ ?

Thanks

Hello,

In MOPZ, you have two alternatives options to download your files :

1 Calculate dowload files automatically*

2 Fill download basket manually*

The first option doesn't work, the wrong target files is calculated, no matter what tartget SPS file I choose (SPS6) it is the the maximum target files that are selected (SPS8)

I have the problem with ALL our SAP solutions (ECC, BI, Portal , etc ...)

I have been able to use the second option "Fill download basket manually" to implment the proper SPS stack on other enviroonements. BAsically you are redicrected from MOPZ to the SWDC , where you choose the correct SPS.

My question here is, does anyone have any idea on where the SPS stacks files for ECC6 EHP4 have been relocated ?

thank you very much.

Regards.

Dear Raoul,

Kindly note that EHP3 & EHP4 sp-stack direct links are not available directly at the SAP service marketplace.

You have download them using Maintenance Optimizer itself.

For additional information about SAP enhancement package maintenance and MOPZ see SAP Note 1139493 and SAP Note 1122966 .

These would help you out.

Best Regards,

Abhishek

Thank you for you input Abhishesk ...

Baiscally, it means that instead of applying the Support Packages on my environnements, I have to check hundreds of sap notes in order to try to repair Solution Manager ...

Sometimes, I find it difficult to stay calm when I read SAP documentations about how SLM is supposed to make your like easier, and improve your productivity and bla bla bla ...

Dear Raoul,

I understand your problem.

But SAP has done so to benefit the customers in long run.

Now you should keep your Solution Manager updated and well connected and updated to all systems in your landscape. Once this is done in your landscape then you can well imagine that your life would be much easier as the package which would be downloaded from the marketplace would be correct one as MOPZ would do so only after checking all dependency related information. And also you do not need to search for the packages in the marketplace.

I hope you can understand the long term approach and the benifits.

Best Regards,

Abhishek
