I am an experienced full stack developer working as an employee with large S/4HANA systems. I developed an fiori app (including a RAP backend) that i want to sell to different companies. It will run on S/4HANA On-Premise and Private Cloud. I don´t want to use the SAP Store but instead promote it via my network and sell it directly.
What do i need to consider when doing so?
As far as I understand it, selling a self-built Fiori app is not really different from selling development services. In both cases, SAP technologies (SAPUI5, RAP, ABAP, ...) are being used and the application always runs on customer systems which are licensed SAP systems.
I already got in contact with the SAP Partner Support, but they weren´t able to give me a clear answer. They only gave information regarding the partner program, but not if it is actually necessary in my case or what options i have as a one-person company.
