Hi,
As every one knows RFC - SAPSLDAPI is used by the ABAP API.But please let me know what exactly this ABAP API do? and how this relates to SLD?
Found many related forums for ABAP API and JAVA API's but all are specific to MDM.

SAPSLDAPI basically allows ABAP and java to talk to each other. you use it to register the program SAPSLDAPI_J2E with your system. It's part of your XI setup.
