Hi
I want to know What "Get delta only once option" in DTP do??. If my data source does not provide delta(only full update possible), and there are hard deletions in the source(with no reverse records or deletion indicators), will this option in DTP allow me to get the correct data in BW??
If this is possible then please let me know how to get it done with a small example. I need to know the sequence of data loads and settting in DTP and infopackages.

Hi Lijo, hi Colleagues,
did you get a solution for the hard deleted records in source table?
In my test cases, changes will work well, but deletions are not processed in BI delta mechanism, when checked "Get delta only once option" in DTP.
Thanks,
Wolfgang

Hi,,
first scenerio(Only Get Delta Once) we use only for full update (datasource should nt support delta) in process chain we use delete content of cube. so only latest request will be in cube.
2nd (Get Data by Request) we use datasource will support delta?
Not required, it is just that the DTP extracts data request by request. Requests in the source may be full or delta requests.
