what is the retention period for the job logs in application job application?

Hi,

We plan to utilize the Application Job feature to execute standard jobs within the system.

Could you please let us know what is the retention period of the spool and the log of standard job?

Hello,

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the retention period for application job logs and spool outputs is 30 days by default. After that, the system automatically deletes the data and cannot extend it.

To retain results longer, you must download or export them before expiry.

Thanks Henrike. It answers my question. Just one follow up question, i understand that until the job is removed, the logs and spools will be available. is my understanding correct?
