EBELP allows you to enter up to 5 digits (99999) for items as per the standard design. If you have more items, instead of using an item number (EBELP) sequence like 10, 20, etc., you may change it to 1, 2, 3 in sequence. This will allow you to enter a maximum of 5 digits (99999) for items.
However, at the app level, creating more line items can result in slower loading times and may become non-user-friendly. Sometimes, it may even lead to timeout issues while calculating the net price based on conditions.
It is advisable to keep the contract line items to fewer than 5,000.

Hello Divya,
Is the customer using ECC or migrating from ECC to S/4 HANA Purchase Contracts ?. If yes, is your question on, how to use 18K lines in Fiori UI ?
Best regards,
Arun
