What BI platform add-on to install for Analysis 2.0 SP3?

Hi,

Maybe this is an easy question for someone, but I'm not able to find the corresponding BI platform plugin for Analysis for office 2.0 SP3.

There is a number of 1.4 addons (SPs) and 2.1 addons, but in the download section for 2.0 it points to 1.4 addon. This is also the impression I get from the notes that 1.4 platform addon is valid for 2.0 sp3 client, but I'm not seeing a spesific statement to this.

In short - what BI platform addon to install for Analysis for Office 2.0 SP3 client tool. 1.4 what SP? or can we use 2.1 latest SP?

Hi  - there is no add-on for BI Platform for 2.0; if you need to remain on 2.0 and want to save to BI platform you will need to save the workbook as a 1.4

Or you can upgrade to 2.1 and that has the BI Platform add-on

Ok thanks I found it.  Any idea why it's only listed under support pack and patches and not installations?  The DS and Lumira stuff has both.

Hi Barnaby - no idea of why it is that way - that is a question for the SAP Delivery manager
