In a scenario where you want to change database hostname and services name, you can follow the steps below as a good practice:

First of, export the repository to .atl, as described in the KBA below:

• 2768127 - Data Services repository migration steps - SAP Data Services

After that, follow the steps below:

1. Open Data Services Server Manager
2. Remove from Server Manager all the information related to the old database server
3. After removing the old information and updating with the new hostname, create a new database and export the .atl repository
