What are launchpad spaces?

Hello all,

I want to copy a business role in S/4HANA cloud, and I can select the option "Assign Launchpad Spaces". However, I do not know what is exactly copied with this option and what the results are if I check the "Assign Launchpad Spaces" box and what the results are if I do not select it.

Hi Floyd,

Spaces are a fairly recent organizational unit for grouping apps.
A space consists of a structure of pages, grouping the most relevant apps for users with a certain business role.

Thank you! Should I copy it or not?

I want to copy a role but use it as a display only role (so make changes to the restrictions by not assigning anything to Write, read, value help).

In this case, you don't have to copy it.
