Websocket connection in SAP DM

Hi Experts,

Is is possible to setup Websocket connection in SAP DM to connect to OPC DA shop floor system through Production Connector?
We want to call this Websocket connection through custom POD Plugin to fetch the tag values of shop floor system.
Also, is there any other way to setup Websocket connection in custom POD plugin and get the tag data from OPC DA shop floor system?

Thank you for your responses.

I would like to know, similarly to line monitoring POD or Weigh and Dispense POD the recent tag values are reflected on the UI without refreshing the POD.

As observed it looks like Websockets are setup that sends messages as payload to the POD so that a change in asset tag value updates it on the UI immediately.

Is there a way wherein we can setup message subscription to asset tags similar to this in custom POD plugin?
