WebI report fails to load data in the first run

Hello experts,

I have a WebI report which fails to display data against the prompted filter values for the first run, however, performing an immediate refresh(pressing the refresh button while open) successfully fetches and displays the data.

This behavior is observed only for the first run and a subsequent close-> reopen->refresh while opening seems good, however when I try to open the same report after 3 or 4 days, the behavior repeats.

(Note - For one of the user, the behavior is continuous even reopening the report observes the behavior and an immediate re-refresh looks good).

Also, the webi report has 2 data providers and as per our investigation the second DP fetches 90% of rows and later in the immediate refresh fetch overall data.

Please advice if it is due to any possible server or configuration issues? or any developmental issues?

Is there a partial refresh? Do you see a small gold triangle in the bottom right hand corner after you refresh the report?

what version are you on? are you up-to-date with SP? did you check the SAP-support-page for already known issues?

The version we have is "SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 Support Pack 4 Patch 4 Version : 14.3.4.4938.4"
