WebElements : Button link used in crystal report opens the report inside the iframe

Hello All,

I am facing this issue, when we upgraded from Crytal Reports 2008 and Business Object XI 3.1 to

Crystal Report 2013 and Business Object 4.1

We are using WebElements in our crystal report. The current version of WebElemets in 2.45.

We use the button function to filter data and or open new report depending upon a value selected

The report is hosted on a Web Portal and uses opendoc to call this report

On CR 2008 when we submit the button it used to open in a new iframe within the portal (pls note this not a new tab or window in IE)

But when we upgraded to CR 2013 and use the button to submit the request it opens a new frame within the existing frame

this makes reading the data very difficult and we need the button to behave similar to how it was in CR 2008

hi Piyush,

there are some changes in the cr viewer between 3.1 to 4.x. can you please upgrade the reports that are not working to webelements 2.47 which was built for 4.0.

let us know how this works.
