web ide autocomplete

I dont know if this is normal but the autocomplete of webide is very slow. First of all it only works if you tap ctrl-space. With Eclipse it works much better and it helps allot.

Do I need to configure something extra to get it working as smoothly as on eclipse or is this just the way it is... to be honest its completly useless like this because even if you tap ctrl-space you have to wait before it shows something and allot of the time it doesnt show all the things you have in a superclass only standard js functions or something like that..

as to performance except of first time where you wait up to 3 second rest reacts ok in the trail

The code assist "on typing" works if "auto hint" mode is marked.

Go to user setting (configuration button on the buttom of the left gutter)
and choose code completion branch on the left tree, on the detailed pain choose radio "auto hint" enable.

Main advantage of code completion is the list of SAPUI5 libraries you get during coding,

saving errors when you copy from SAPUI5 SDK.

Code completion doe not supports cross file functions, but this feature is planned.

I will also address the topic of superclass, in SAPUI5 you should get inherited properties.

Can yoiu send a sample code of a link to a system in which you see performance issues
