Web application in PDF format

Hello SDN,

How do you export the selected Web application in PDF format?

hi.....in WAD, you have to define our own web item and in the command option define the PDF Download (its a standard command provided by SAP).

To print a BEx Web Application, a user could use the context menu Print Version or insert a Web item like a button or hyperlink that allows starting the print dialog. Please note that not all web items can be printed and please note that there is no WYSIWYG Printing. Printable Web Items are always printed underneath each other.

You can also Broadcast your web application whereby it goes to your mails as a PDF.

Hi Niki,

Just in brief, Broadcsting is used to send the query output through emails in pdf, html or other mime files specified or can can be used to print the report.

You can do that either at runtime or can schedule the same with your selections to run at a specific point in time.

You can do that by rightcliclicking on your web report and choosing broadcast.

You can also click on 'Send' button whereby u will create the settings for the same.

There are some prerequistes like your user master data in SU01 needs to be configured for tehs same.
