Hello, everyone!
I come from a SAP CRM background in which, whenever we needed to customize the WebUI, it was considered a best practice to create a role configuration key, assign it to a business role and copy the <DEFAULT> configuration in order to always have the original reference:
We are now using S/4HANA Service on the private cloud and the decided approach was to launch everything from the Fiori Launchpad. However, I am not able to force the app to use the configuration I created with a custom configuration key.
If I launch the old webclient (via tcode CRM_UI) and select the correct business role, it calls my configuration perfectly. If I launch the service order app (TBT116MSR, a WCF launched via Fiori) it always calls the <DEFAULT> configuration key.
Looking at the help page, i found this link that mentions the following:
So, if we are using the Service Orders app from the Fiori Launchpad as a single point of entry, does that mean that from now on we should customize the layout (standard and custom fields, standard and custom assignment blocks, etc) on the standard configuration using the <DEFAULT> config key?
Thanks in advance for any inputs,
Arthur
