I created a watermark effect by a placing a table behind my "data" table. On the first page it looks good but from the 2nd page and beyond, the "watermark" table appears on the top and pushes the "data" table down. Why is this happening and how do I get it to act the same as page 1 for all pages? I have tried all the properties settings for both tables
I have also tried a free standing cell with the same results
I believe I'm using WEBI XI R3
I can do this with crystal reports, Oracle reports and even Access. I would think this would be available with webi???????

Hi all,
I have the same problem as mentioned in this original post. But it is not resolved by the solution provided by Vamsee.
Can anybody sugguest any idea for setting up the watermark in all pages properly?
Thanks,

@Srinivas Ganapa
I need it to change based on certain conditions each time the report is opened. I would like to change the background text or background image for a certain condition.
for example:
when user provides "XX" on a prompt show text "XXXXXXXX" else show "YYYYYYYY"
I got this to work great on the first page. Just when I say show the "watermark" table on every page the formatting gets messed up on the 2nd page and beyond and the "watermark" table appears on the top and pushes the "data" table down.
@Pujitha Veerava I know we can do a static change/add background but how can we do it dynamically?
Does anybody know why this is happening or have a solution. I can send screen shots if needed.
Thanks

Hai,
Ya as he said you can perform this:
document properties-->Appearence-Background image
it will be applied to all pages in a report

Why not just use a background for the page/ table? That will allow you to create a watermark.
