This was an issue with VS Code Update 1.94!

This is fixed with Application Version 1.93, but maybe you have to update the extension manually using "Install specific Version".

Thank you!!!  Downgrading to version 1.93 worked.

Hello,

I'm facing the same issue. The Application Generator worked fine until yesterday. When I try to start it today, nothing happens. When I run command 'Open Template Wizzard' I get an error message saying "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getNodeProcessVersion')"

Regards,

Jochen

I'm facing the same issue. I'm using SAP Fiori Tools—Extension Pack version 1.15.1, and my VSCode version is v1.94.0.

Yesterday, I used the Application Generator and it worked. Today, I tried again, and nothing happened. I checked the last update of the SAP Fiori Tools—Extension Pack extension, and it says it was last updated today. I think a newer version caused this issue.

Hi, can you please ensure you restart VSCode after the new version was installed. Can you also check if there was any error in a popup message when trying to launch the generator? Thanks.

I already restarted. There is no popup message when I try to run the 'Fiori: Open Application Generator' command. I tried to run the 'Open Application Wizard' command I got an error in a popup. It says the command 'Open Template Wizard' resulted in an error: Cannot read properties of undefined(reading 'getNodeProcessVersions'). I also tried the 'Fiori: Add Sap System' command, SAP System Details page opened, so I think that command works.

Thanks for the update. That helps a little. It looks like the Application Wizard extension (which the Fiori generator uses) is not installed correctly. Could you uninstall that extension and re-install it? There wasn't a new version of this released recently. Also, can you confirm the version of node.js you have installed? I can ask some of the Application Wizard colleague to support if re-installing the extension doesn't work. Thanks.

Still, nothing happens when I run Open Application Generator command. I have node v22.09.0 installed.
