Hi everybody,
I would like to remove all the subitems in the uwl iview with overview as navigation style.
This because, adding entries to the uwl, the overview iveew becomes always longer and i'getting toolbars.
If anyone has a solution please...
Arturo
Hi,
In fact after a lot of R&D I have found out the ways,I have documented the same, here is a what you will have to do
There are two ways of customoizing UWL iviews.
1.Through the Property editor of the UWL iview
2.Changing the uwl.standard.xml file
Just to remove the tabs like Notifications
Follow the following steps
1. To remove the all Navigation Tabs.
For the Property Depth of UWL
Navigation- Make it none that is Select
2. To remove the Some of Navigation Tabs.
For the Property Depth of UWL Navigation- Select the
required level
2.Changing XML file
1.Change the uwl.standard.xml file. MIND THIS YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IN THE SERVER , KEEP A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL XML FILE.
The file uwl.standard.xml
Go to the Column Order for the Default iView in the XML file delete whhich ever you do not need .
Log off the user and Log in..
It works
Thanks

Thank for your answer!!
But I have still some problem:
1. Changing the parameter "Depth of UWL Navigation Tree"
doesn't reflect any change in the overview page of UWL.
I still have (for example for tasks) the following enties:
Tasks (3 New / 7)
Display key tasks and views for Tasks
My Open Tasks (3 New / 7)
Collaboration Approvals (4)
Collaboration (3 New / 7)
Completed Tasks
Collaboration
And i would like to have just
Tasks (3 New / 7)
Display key tasks and views for Tasks
Do you think that setting that parameter to "Select" should give this result?
2. I think that changing the uwl.standard.xml in the default view should affect only the iview with tabs (that I don't want to change) and not the one provided with navigation style = overview
Can you explain me this poinus?
Waiting for an answer
