Using 0FI_ACDOCA_10/20 vs 0F_GL_10/14

Hi All,

I was looking at how to install core finance standard dataflows and was faced with some questions. Our environment is BW4HANA (SP5) with S4HANA (1709).

The note 2341038 says that we can use the new 0FI_ACDOCA_10/20 datasources and even though we don't have any BI content for them, we can just remap the 0F_GL_10/14 BI content to use these new ACDOCA datasources instead.

When I checked RSA5 for these datasources, I saw that these new datasources are not ODP enabled as they dont have that tick mark against their name.

Now, I am not sure how to move forward.

1. Is ACDOCA based datasource the new direction?

2 Does it matter that these datasources are not ODP enabled?

3. Even the gl_10 and 14 extractors would indirectly refer to ACDOCA since there is no FAGLFLEXA/T anymore. So why does it matter if we use ACDOCA10/20 vs GL_10/14?

Regards,

Shyam

Hello Shyam,

you need to follow the note 2368268 - Export DataSources not exposed to ODP to expose DataSources as ODP ready. Just simply run report RODPS_OS_EXPOSE within the ERP system. This report checks the DataSources agains SAP specifications and add them into table ROOSATTR. This is also described within this wiki. Releasing Extractors for use by the ODP API Skip to end of metadata
