Hello all,
We are using SAP Enterprise Portal 7.31. At the moment the user data are stored in UME (local database). In the future we want to save the user data in LDAP. So we have to migrate the exist user data from UME to LDAP using customer login module:
1. read user data from UME
2. create new user data in LDAP
3. delete the user data from UME if every thing in LDAP is OK
I have tried to implement the idea. But it did not work. Because the user data can exists only once (either UME or LDAP). So in my login module I have to at first delete the user data before I can create the user data in LDAP. Then I have a problem: if the creating in LDAP fails, then the user data is lost. Has someone idea, how to solve the problem? thx.
Best regards,
Fanglin

Why is this the case?
