Usage of "JustAsk" within the story in a separate panel.

Hi Folks,

Good day!!

Requirement : User wanted to create charts by just giving prompts in text. We know that we have this feature in JustAsk.

Is it possible to use the JustAsk within the Story page as a separate panel? Instead of clicking the JustAsk Button.

I searched for the APIs for JustAsk but not able to find any.

Hi Ramkumar,
Great question !

Yes,  you are correct, there are currently no API for just ask. This is something we are considering for a future release but this is not planned for the upcoming Q4, Q1 25 releases.

In parallel, we are planning to integrate Joule in SAP Analytics Cloud. This will be an story assistant available as a side panel in the story both in view and edit mode. Check the video from the Generative AI for Planning & Analytics page.
Would the address your use case  ?
It would be great if you could provide some details  on your scenario for story script API to invoke just ask.

Good day!! Sorry for the delayed reply 🙂

• We were planning to create a user friendly Story where the User can Select or enter the questions in a text box.
• The module is related to PM where all the Equipment and Notification related details will be uploaded in the model
• User can ask the cross questions to the existing data.
