Usage of featured files

Hello all,

I am wondering how the featured files are working? Can anyone tell me how to add Files/Stories to the corresponding homescreen element?

Hi Michael,

Featured Files are nothing but like favorites for the entire tenant. As long as any user has access the any featured files then the user can see the files in Featured Folders and also in the Featured Tiles of Home Screen for quick access.

To mark a file featured you need to go to System folder which is Administration view, which is available to users who have Manage rights on either the Private Files or Public Files application privilege. So basically only Admins can mark the files as featured.
