Uruguay e-Invoicing (e-Factura) with DGI

Hello All,

For legal requirements, SAP has released a solution for Brazil e-Invoicing (Nota Fiscal Electonica - NFe) as mentioned in the below link. This involves predelivered PI content and configurations for NFE core application to integrate with Brazil authorities (SEFAZ).

Could you please let me know if you are aware of a similar solution released by SAP for Uruguay e-Invoicing (e-Factura) with Uruguay authorities (DGI - http://www.dgi.gub.uy/)? Any pointers would be really helpful.

Hi Rosie. At moment not exist a standard solution for electronic invoice of Uruguay.

Hi Luciana,

Unfortunately, SAP do not support electronic invoicing in Uruguay for this moment. When I was investigating this issue in May, I have also created incident request to SAP with this question. According what they has responded to me they has discussed it internally and won’t be developing any country specific solution for that country. If you want you can ask them again, but I doubt it has changed much.

I’m looking for some solution regarding this topic. Did SAP released some OSS since February 2014? I’m looking for it for some time but unfortunately without much success. Any advices how to proceed?

Dear Rosie,

Let me introduce myself. My name is Guillermo Corbi, and I work at EDICOM as International Expansion Manager.

It looks like SAP has not developed the Electronic Invocing module for Uruguay yet. However, we have implemented several solutions for international companies which were requesting to do electronic invoicing in such country.

We hace offices based in Buenos Aires, from where we provide EDI and Electronic Invocicing solutions to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

Please, let me know if you think interesting to set up a confcall for treating this issue.

Meanwhile, can you please provide a brief description of your solution? Will this be a hosted solution or something that can be installed in-house? What are the integration options avaiable to send data from ECC system to your solution?
