Upload file or image to chatbot

How can I add "file upload" functionality to my bot? The bot should prompt a file upload upon detecting an intent, the upload should be a requirement for an action.

Hi mleao

We don't have this option available through the builder. You have to use your own backend to handle the upload within your bot.

• If its on the webchat, you also have to code the front part (see here https://github.com/SAPConversationalAI/Webchat)
• If its on Facebook messenger, you can use the integrated tool (here is the doc: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/send-messages#types).
