Hi
For the past umpteen years I have been using crystal reports 9 (yes 9!) with Crystal Enterprise 9 to publish reports for users. Unfortunately the time has come where the councils latest Server upgrades (to 2008) have rendered my version obsolete. Honestly its like saying goodbye to a dear old friend. But hey life moves on, so my question(s) is.
If I purchase Crystal reports 2016 - does it come with a similar product like Crystal Enterprise to allow me to publish reports on the web (or our intranet?)
Does it support ODBC?
I am going to install it on a Widows 2008 server and point it to SQL Server 2012 Db using an ODBC can anyone see any issues please?
Many thanks
Kieron

Crystal reports 2016 is a designer and you can't place reports on old enterprise, you also have to go for either CR for enterprise 2016 or Business Objects 4.2 server.
Does it support ODBC?
Yes, it supports ODBC.

Yes, you can install and create ODBC to access SQL Server 2012.
Thanks,
Sastry
