Upgrade to MS SQL 2019 from SQL 2012 for EP 7.5

Is is possible to upgrade from MS SQL 2012 to MS SQL 2019 using just SQL tools? What would the process be. We did the initial install using the SQL4SAP MS SQL install script

Hi John,

1. Yes, it is possible to upgrade the MS SQL to 2019 using the Sql tool, You have to follow the steps as mentioned in the SAP portal link, before starting to take the full DB backup.

2. You may have to check the OS depentance it should be Windows sever 2016 and above.
