My customer is live with S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition v 2023 FP2.
In their current OP CUA environment (which is a pure NetWeaver stack SAP_BASIS 7.52) , they cannot manage IANA time zones. According to the note; they would need to upgrade to the environment to at least version SAP_BASIS 7.57 SP00 (S/4HANA 2022) to be able to manage those IANA timezones.
As their S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition is 2023 FP2 and will a child of the central system, they best upgrade to the 2023 version with SAP_BASIS 7.58 00.
As this is purely the BASIS stack they need, and there is no S/4 HANA functionality nor S/4 HANA processes running on that environment, what is the effort to upgrade and does that require an S/4HANA OP license?
Can you please advise?
