Regarding the request of updating the email address of a S-user, it is mandatory to contact an active super admin of the company to proceed with the update, accordingly to the steps on KBA 1271545 - How to update SAP for Me and S-user ID settings (phone number, e-mail address, time zone, language, etc) - SAP for Me.
Also, a Super Administrator has to be contacted to add the new domain of the company, insuring the security and the validity of the user, as per on KBA 3025172 - How to add/remove email domains - SAP for Me.

We are seeing a forced connection to Universal ID when changing a domain for a user. A supplier company is working to change their domain.
We were in a session with SAP about "Identity" and "S user" that also seemed to indicate Universal ID is planned to go away.
Do you have any thoughts or guidance on this? The whole Universal ID requirement as part of the email change?
