Update Member properties of SAC model via API

Dear Members ,

Our business requirement is to send details from SAC to SF , But we want to also update the member status of the data was send successfully to SF .

I am aware about the export API, Could you let me know if this is possible for we can update a member's details via an API from external middleware like SAP CPI?
