update existing data model with new column(s) using Google drive

I have imported data from CSV file in google drive and created data model. Now I have new column that need to be imported in existing model. But when I try to import I am getting error "Schema of data source has been changed!". How to avoid this error and update my existing model?

Or is there any other way so I can recreate the model and that model can copy calculation from existing model and this new model can be used in existing story?

Hello Harpreet,

you need to add the new columns to the model first and then create a new draft source in the data management of the model. Pick the file from Google Drive, redo the mapping and add the mapping for the new columns.

Or better yet - start all over

Adding stuff to a model is a cumbersome deal

And if you rebuild it again - you will loose the column you just added - alongside many other things

Rebuild really does not work
