Universe handling for similar universes with different connections.

I have a universe that I maintain in the IDT. Due to different authorizations, I need the universe twice with different connections.

I have now created these and received CUID xy and vw. Now the first major changes are due. How can I prevent having to make the adjustments twice?

Problem: If I make the adjustments to the universe with the CUID xy, then copy it and adjust the connection, I don't automatically have the CUID vw again. The dirty way would be to simply change the CUID of the second universe in the CMS database back to vw.

Isn't there a more elegant way? Updating the existing universes individually each time is too much work for me. Many thanks for the ideas!

Why do you have two connections? Do different user groups use different databases? If so, why not have a single universe with security overrides to deliver the two connections?
