Dear Experts,

I have a query where the output of the quantity field comes in Tonnes, square meters and feet. I need the output in tonnes.

Please advice how to convert square meters and feet to tonnes.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Kshama Sharma.

Hi Kshama,

We can do one conversion at a time, i mean you can convert from square meters into tonnes or feet into tonnes, not together.

You can do it at key figure level , you have tab called conversions there you can get the option to do this.

Hi,

Did you check the T006 table for these. Do the R/3 has conversion factor for these, if yes, you can transfer them to BW. Even try to use RSUOM t/code to create your own Z conversion type.

Regards,

Vengal.

You are not going to get a conversion type in T006 for SQM to Tonnes. SQM is a measure of area, tonnes is a measure of weight. T006 allows you to convert between units within the same dimension, such as from a length unit like meters into another length unit like feet.

What you need are conversions across dimensions. The only way to do these is when the rates for such conversions are maintained at the material level.

The below doc gives you the details. If you can follow it and most importantly if you can get the data for the UOM0MATE DSO, then you can convert it.
