Unanswered Questions Tab - Vendor Announcements ?

The 'Unanswered' tab includes all the Vendor Announcements, is there anything that could be done to ignore them while on that tab ? or is this just the downside of making announcements instead of questions?

I've had a search to see if it's been mentioned before but I couldn't find anything on it.

I suppose the same comment could be made about the unaswered questions that are tagged product-suggestion ?

Someone could add a token answer and then Breck could accept it, thus making the question "answered".

There' nothing that hinders the vendor announcer to do that himself:)
