Hi there,
I am hoping someone can assist me with this issue. We have an issues where we are unable to view the record model in transaction SCASE. It seems to be linked to the computer we are logging on. Initially we thought it was SAP GUI related but that is not the case.
Has anyone had an issue where they cannot view the records model like in the attached print screens? Its not authorisations as well.
Kind Regards
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
I haven't seen anything like this before, although I worked with SCASE more than 10 years...
May I assume that there's probably a difference between SAP GUI versions on this different PC?
I would suggest to update the SAP Logon app to a newer version on the computer where you don't see a model properly. You actually can see the model, but for some reason the container's height is too small and most of the space was take by the legend for model's status (see the highlighted area).
Also you can first try to select a different theme in SAP GUI (click on the top-left corner of SAPLogon app and select Options). Then select a Classic Theme (for example) or try anything else except SAP Signature that is currently configured:
Exit SAP GUI completely and start the app again. You should see that the design has changed. Try if it helps with SCASE model viewer:
Let me know if either SAP Logon upgrade or theme change helps.

Hi Anton,
Thank you for responding. We tried both the them change and SAP Logon upgrade and none of these resolved the issue.

Hi Michelle,
that's really odd. Do you know if by any chance you can try SAP GUI for HTML?
If this behavior persists and only a certain user is affected, maybe a new user id is a simpler solution 🙂
