Unable to set a connection from SAP Analytics Cloud to PostgreSQL 17 through JDBC Driver

Hi SAP Community, 

we are currently not able to set a connection in import from PostgreSQL 17 Database to SAC. In the official documentation seems that only version until 13 is currently supported. Is there any workaround to handle it?

Hi Niccolò_Stapane,

I would suggest the following workaround: just add the Postgres 17 drivers and add an entry in the properties file. The properties file is read to identify individual drivers but SAC itself doesn't have any awareness of what is 'behind it'. If a new entry doesn't work you can add the Postgres 17 drivers as part of an existing entry, for instance Postgres 13.
