There are multiple reasons why it may be difficult to schedule an SM35 session in the background.

1. Lack of authorization: The user may not have the necessary authorization to execute the SM35 transaction in the background.
2. System configuration: The system may not be configured correctly to execute the SM35 transaction in the background.
3. System performance: The system may be too busy with other processes or have insufficient resources to execute the SM35 transaction in the background.
4. Job scheduling: The job may not have been scheduled properly, or the job may be blocked or waiting on another job to finish.
5. Job parameters: The job may have incorrect parameters or variables that are preventing it from running properly.
6. Job type: The job may not be the correct type for running an SM35 transaction in the background.
