Unable to log on to SAP BusinessObjects BI platform with Live Office

I installed Live office 4.2 SP05. I see live office option in MS Excel and able to validate the web service url.

For logon credentials, the authentication box is empty and does not come up with various authentications that are available on SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise.

I have no problem logging on to SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise, from same machine, using other tools, WEBi Rich client, IDT etc.

The settings for live office authentication are contained in a different web deployment file. the web.xml under tomcat web/apps called dswsbobje. If you have configured AD SSO you will need to also apply those settings to web services as well. https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/preview/en/1646920

Thanks for your reply.

We have not configured AD SSO, we just use AD authentication for logon.

In axis2.xml, there is following line

<parameter name="disableREST" locked="true">true</parameter>

Should this be "enableREST", what would be locked value?

Is there any related values in web.xml?

the logon options is contained in the web.xml for dswsbobje authentication.visible and maybe the cms.visible

anything else should be the same on all applications
