Unable to create new crystal report OR modify an existing report in SAP BO 4.2 SP3

Hi,

I got opportunity to work on SAP BO Admin module as i have basis understating on that. We are using SAP BO 4.2 version SP3. There is a requirement to create user for Crystal Report Developer.

So , I have created a test user (for testing purpose) and given "Full Control" access on 'Crystal Report Configuration' under Applications in CMC. Even though I am getting below error:

"The data source is invalid: 'Unable to retrieve the datasource configuration : java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.IProxyHandler.invoke(java.lang.reflect.Method, java.lang.Object[], java.util.Map) of a null object loaded from field com.sap.connectivity.cs.remoting.corba.svchelpers._ConfigurationProxy.m_handler of an object loaded from local variable 'this''. Please contact the maintainer of the data source to solve the problem.

But i am able to do all activities on Crystal Report Enterprise, If i login with Admin credentials.

I have given Full Control access on Folders, Connections, Universes, BI Launch Pad, Web Intelligence, and Crystal Report Configuration on TEST user.

Please let me know if a I am missing anything and Help me on this.

Is the version of Crystal for Enterprise that you're using exactly the same (service pack and patch) as your BI Platform?

Yes Dell. It is same as my BI Platform. More over its working fine with Admin credentials.
