Unable to Create Event Consumption Model in On-premise system.

I'm trying to create an event consumption model by following the steps from the tutorial https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/abap-environment-event-processing-s4h-onpremise..html

and getting the below error. Could you please help me on resolving this error?

I have just had this exact same issue on a S4CORE 107 SP02 System. I then tried on a S4 Public Cloud System, and it worked perfectly fine. I also then tried on a different on-premise system that is S4CORE 108 SP01 and it also worked perfectly fine. There seems to be an issue on older S4 systems.

Same problem on our 2022 private cloud, this error makes no sense, there must be a bug

I just checked, and while we are on S4HANA 2022 we are, like you discovered, on S4CORE-107-0001. So this tutorial should include this restriction in their prerequisites. (https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/abap-environment-event-processing-s4h-onpremise.html#dd8d84a1-d...)

SAP recommended applying note 3396393, this was done and it indeed fixed the problem while still remaining on S4CORE-107-0001.
