Unable to convert in PDF

We are having SAP ECC6(EHP4) ABAP systems. We are using transaction

codes J1INCERT -TDS print to vendors and J1INCCERT - TCS-TAX

certificates for customers for printing in PDF but we are getting an ERROR MESSAGE :

SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send returned

with status code".

We tried to find it out lot of SAP NOTES but note says that we need to

configure RFC for the same and for RFC we require java stacks.

Is it possible to configure ADS without java stacks or do anyone have any

other solution to convert into PDF these certicates?

Hi Birender,

If ur having solution manager,configure ADS on solution manager,create RFC connections between abap system on solman,your problem resolve with out insaalling any additional java stack for ADS Configiuration.

In my opinion, this is a very bad idea. Technically it would work but SOLMAN is an adminitrative system , not a PRODUCTIVE system. The SLA and support will be completely different.

Hi,

You need Adobe Document Services which runs on a SAP Netweaver J2EE stack. In my opinion you will have to install ADS or to do without the PDF documents...
